My wife has always been fit and healthy, but my new weight loss and interest in running has sparked a competitive nature in her. While others just feel the need to share that they know they are overweight and they simply don&#8217;t care, or do not have the will to change their eating habits. While others have been inspired, and I have started seeing them make decisions to try and make better decisions when it comes to meal time. You never really realize how a decision you make can affect so many people around you.</p>

I was concerned that it would be difficult to stay on my diet while traveling, but realized i could just pack it in my bag and take it with me. I went on two vacations, one being a cruise and two business trips while being on the Medifast Meal Plan and managed to lose weight on every single trip. No other diet I know about would make this possible. So if you are about to go on a vacation and you are thinking &#8220;I will start my diet afterward&#8221;. Well, think again because you could lose 4-5 pounds while you are gone. Just get started you won&#8217;t be dissapointed.</p>

We&#8217;ll as you can probably tell by the advertisement on your right I decided to go on the medifast jumpstart diet plan to lose weight. Why medifast? You might ask. Well I like the structure of the medifast system, and every other system I found seemed didn&#8217;t seem hard core enough. The plan is really simple you eat about every 2-3 hrs and you eat their pre-packaged food 5 of those times and then one lean and green meal. After following the plan for 5 days I am down to 196 pounds. Do the math that is 9 pounds in 5 days. I am actually on a plane to California right now on a plane with free WiFi! I thought it might be hard to keep on the diet while I am gone, but I just packed the food in my bag.  I will let you know how it turns out.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Well, whatever the reason I am glad to have you. I have come to the realization of something, and I know this might come as a big shock to some of you that know me but here it goes. &#8220;I&#8217;m FAT!&#8221; Surprised? Me either, I have been watching my hands put food in my mouth all my life. You know I have been complaining lately a lot about how our government has been spending way to much money. I know what your thinking! POLITICS? What I discovered was that the very thing I was complaining about them doing I was doing to myself. I was eating more calories every day then I could take, but unlike the treasury I was having a surplus.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So what to do about this surplus?  As far as I can tell I have 3 options.</p>
<ol>
<li>The Democratic Strategy &#8211; Eat more in fact Eat a lot more!</li>
<li>The Republican Strategy &#8211; Eat a little less, but not enough where it is uncomfortable.</li>
<li>The Revolutionary &#8211; Drastic calorie intake reduction.</li>
</ol>
<p></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Well I have made my decision and I have decided to go with option number 3. In fact my goal is to lose 40 pounds or about 18 kg for my friends across the pond. How am I going to do it? Well stay tuned and find out.</p>
